Need help ! losing the recovery CD

hi there!

i need some helps from all of you guys. i am using the SOny vaio VGN b1 XP that i bought 2 years ago. I have just lost my recovery DVD that i burn it before. Now , I want to recovery my PC like the beginning. Is there anybody know what should i have to do ? and how can i get the recovery back

welcome to Club vaio..

You may still be able to create another set of recovery disc's by follow this guide, then you could use them to recover your Vaio back to the factory settings..

Or as long as the recovery partition has not been deleted you could try pressing F10 repeatedly when starting you vaio, this normally would start the recovery process..

Edit: make sure you back-up all important data first..

Hey guys. Running the same problem. The link mentioned above doesn't work anymore though. Any chance we can find a way to recover my nice good ol' VAIO? At the moment it's a dead stick :
