    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an SVE1711X1EB which is almost the same as your model number. I did upgrade to Windows 8 using the Sony Kit and the got the follwoing message when playing a shop bought blu-ray disk&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The integrity of Cyberlink PowerDVD is under threat. Check your anti-virus software for malicious activities or try reinstalling Cyberlink PowerDVD&lt;/EM&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I reported this to Sony and they sent me 3 links to download 3 upgrades to Cyberlink. Only 2 of the links worked and Sony confirmed that one of the links.was indeed broken. I installed the 2 updates to Cyberlink and now I get &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;CybeLlink PowerDVD does not support the playback of this media format&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sony now say I should restore my computer to factory settings which i am pretty sure will sort the problem because that willput me back to Windows 7. Not something I'm too keen on. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What messages are you getting? If it is happening to everyone with this model of computer then Sony need to do something about it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
