Within the last few months The CD drive has begun making some strange noises, of varying pitch with some CD's. The other day I was watching Gladiator when the picture began to freeze, then stopped, and a high piitch noise came from the drive, to only drop quickly to a low pitch noise that only stops when I open the drive.
