hi, i have the same problem

i have a FR215S with the Toshiba SD-R6012
when i first got it, it wrote dvd-rs perfectly (infiniti discs) and now it just wont write anything! i've updated the firmware (found like on the new vaoi-link site) but this hasnt helped! its driving me insane, ive tried 3 different disc types, several full system restores, and it still wont work!

strangely, when i try to burn a dvd, it runs through the entire process, says its completed successfully, but when i try to read the disc, it says its blank.. also, looking at the disc itself, no data appears to have been written.

for some reason nero recognises it as "toshiba DVD-ROM sd-r6012" and having spoke to some other people, they advise driver reinstall, but i cant find any drivers!

please help me out here, its doing my head in!

thanks
