Lid dosnt close tight. A115B

Just as the topic says it dosnt shut tight, is this a common problem, hardly worth sending it back?

Probably < 1month.

What do you mean it doesn't shut right? Are the clips closing?
Does it feel unsafe when carrying it around?

the clpis close but not tight, so it fells a bit loose.
Had it about 2 weeks.

See what the retailer can do as it's within the 28day period.

I have a A115S and have a simiar issue. When the lid is closed, I can still get quite a lot of movement.

It's not really a problem for me, but I do think it's a bit of a design flaw.

Thanks for the info guys, will have to look into this if I get an A series notebook.

That's a bit odd. I just took a look at three different 15" A-series, and couldn't find that behavior on those machines.

Have you tried to use glue to keep it shut tight?:smileygrin: :smileygrin:

Hehe... it's not that bad you need glue!!! It's just a case that when the lid is closed, you can still move it up and down a few millimeters. The lid is latched closed but it's not a snug close.

That's as good as I can explain it... if it made any sense!!!
