The 2 HDDs have failed (happened before in 2009). I have bought 2 new HDDs and intalled them yesterday. Last time this happened I purchased Vaio Recovery discs from Sony. I tried running a recovery from these disks. Screen said "Starting Vaio recovery utility, powered by windows..." with a progress bar underneath.</P><P></P><P>The progress bar completed and the screen says "Please wait..." It appears to have hung at this point.</P><P>Can anyone help?</P><P></P><P>BTW I have checked the connections, Reset BIOS to factory default.
