Special keyboard keys don't work after reinstalling OS

Hi,

After I received my PCG-K115B, the first thing I did was reinstall the bloated WinXP and replaced it with Win2k. Everything works perfect, except the special function keys (like [FN+F3] to control volume, brightness, etc.)

Is there any specific driver/utility I need to use? I was not able to find anything on www.vaio-link.com.

Look for Hotkey.exe on your recovery disk - although there may be compatibility issues if you have changed the OS.

Thank you got the help. The issue was addressed by installing the Sony Utilities provided on vaio-link.com, which installs all the necessary stuff (Sony Libraries and the hotkey.exe program too).
