very dark webcam at SVE14 notebook

Good day

I just have recieved my notebook, but I found that the image of webcame is very bad and verrrrrrrrry dark even in light. Is any one face this problem? any one has solution of this problem?

Hi abdo9119,

I don’t have access to a Win 8 Vaio so have no idea whether there is any software included to adjust brightness etc. – I assume you have investigated this? The manual for this model is next to useless when looking for a solution!

Sony claim the camera works well even in low light – albeit on the USA site:
