I know about ten persons whith differents models of sony's notebook who gradualy have the same problem.<BR /><BR />These notebooks have a speed fan control and when it becomes too hot the speed increases... and the noise too.<BR />The first symptom of overheating is actually the noisy fan that never rev at low speed.<BR />The second symptom is unexpeted shutdowns when you are using a lot of cpu (gaming, heavy surfing etc ...) very very annoying !!!!<BR />We are not alone in the world, if you google on this probleme you can find a site with an explicit name <BR /><A href="http://www.vaioshutdown.com" target="_blank">http://www.vaioshutdown.com</A> .
