Hi all, 1st time poster. My laptop keeps freezing at random, and especially when i run security scans. I had microsoft essentials and have just upgraded to the lastest norton product and still no joy. The scans always seem to freeze on a "system32/driverstore/filerepository" file. The general consensus is not to touch these files at all but the norton support guys think i may have a corrupt file on my hard drive. I need to know if its possible to reinstalled system32/driverstore/filerepository or will i have to send my laptop off for repair? any idea's greatly appreciated, thanks
