Recovery CD / DVD VAIO S4M Germany

Hello!

I made a big mistake!

I formated my harddisk of my S4M and then I looked in the recovery cd for my S4M ==> Unfortunately the S4M doesn't get delivered with physical Recovery CDs / DVDs ==> They are saved on my harddisk that I formated ==> So they're gone

My Question:

Where can I get the Recovery DVDs. Sony want's 80 Euros for it. That's too much. I just paid a lot of money for my notebook 😞

Hi Stefan,

Just to clarify, have you formatted the entire hard drive or just the C and D partitions? If the latter, then your recovery partition may be intact and you can start the recovery process by pressing F10 at boot.
Otherwise I am afraid that your only option is to buy the recovery disks from Sony:smileysad:
