The software is still out there somewhere but its not specifically for this purpose anymore and now also has DVD region and copy-protection removal built-in, so you have to pay for it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Still, worth a look. Its listed on google.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Oh yeah another piece of software called AnyDVD (www.slysoft.com) has a feature that allows you to reduce the max speed of the DVD drive, making it a lot quieter when watching movies etc. Works with both CDs and DVDs.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yo! its me again.. i wonder does anyone had this problems.. well more like annoying, when you put a cd in the rom it kept spinning even tho you are not using it.. for examples. i am playing warcraft3 and i leave the cd inside after i finished.. then i turn off my laptop.. the next day i turn it on not playing.. but the cd kept spinning none stop... and it quite loud.. it only stop untill i press eject button...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
