You should be able to use the kb835221.exe hotfix file from your preinstalled XP installation. I've extracted the files from the package on my machine and it appears to include the W2K and XP drivers.

If it's any help, my copy of the file is in c:\VAIO applications\Hotfix

HI, I like to put windows 2000 on my VAIO FS18GP. Everything has gone over very well except for the sound. Before the sound drivers will install they ask for the Universal Audio Architecture driver from Microsoft.

This isnt a readily available download from anywhere. Does any body know of where I could get this or how I could 'backup' my drivers/dlls/registry entries from XP pro and apply them to Win2000 (a long shot I know but you never know - there seems to be only a few files - http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;835221)

Thanks in advance
Charlie
