I got a Vaio S3XP.

The problem is that my speakers' sound is distorted. Especially the right speaker. This is not at high volume lvls. When I have the volume at 3 out of 10 the sound can still be distorted. The funny thing is that the distortion dissapears if I push down on the plastic in the area around the speaker/speakers. Is anyone else having distorted sound in the same situation and at the same low volume lvls as me?

This is a hardware problem/question, not software. It is not about the crackling sound drivers, elektromagnetic fields... can give.

Lots of thanks in advance!

Keep pushing down on it.........just kidding.......start a case with Vaio Link support and get it fixed. It sounds like the speaker needs to be replaced as it was installed incorrectly. Be prepared for a long wait but I have heard of fast turn arounds so hound them for a commitment on repair time required.
