Help! - Been given wrong laptop? VGN-S5M/S

Hey,

Just bought a new laptop from John Lewis today I was told (the model number that I bought) the VGN-S5M had bluetooth on it which I require for work. However when Ive been given the box collected it today I have noticied that Ive been given the VGN-S5M/S and that this doesnt have bluetooth on it?

I specifically asked if it had bluetooth on it and was told it had however there is no mention of it on the Sony site on the specifications list? I can only find the VGN-S5M/S and not the VGN-S5M does anyone know the difference and if this laptop indeed does have bluetooth or not before I open the laptop and break the Sony Security seal?

Take it in tomorrow and ask if they have one with bluetooth

I did ask them and they went and asked someone and they said the VGN-S5M does have bluetooth but sony says they dont? I was given the VGN-S5M/S Very confused here

As Kee-Lo said take it back to JL. If the sales Assistant said it has bluetooth then it shouldn't be a problem to exchange. It happens sometimes.
This model has bluetooth VGNS5XP/B

I have also S5M and it hasn't bluetooth too. I think the specitifications ob Sony Site is wrong because all the sites selling vaios says that one of the difference of the S5m from the others S5 models is the bluetooth.
And if you look at the S5 series reference guide's bluetooth section it's written that bluetooth is included on "some models" only. I think the model which is excluded must unfortunately be the cheapest S5 : S5M/S
