- When do you expect the sony reader PRS 650 to ship to UK, and Spain?

- Does the 650 support the Adobe DRM for PDF? (i have the prs600 and it has trouble with drm'd pdfs)

Hi,

I believe in the Uk the 650 is about to go on sales any day now. In Spain however that is a whole other story and I don't really know actually

Hi I believe the PRS-650 is due this month in Spain, however you would need to check locally for stock information.

I bought my PRS-650 on 12th October from the Sony store in Lakeside, Essex. So it's well and truly out in the UK already. The smaller version (350?) was sitting right next to it.

The PRS 650 is available in my local Sony Center now..

The PRS 650 supports the following formats..

Unsecured / free eBooks & text files - EPUB eBook, Adobe® PDF, Microsoft® Word, TXT, RTF, BBeB (*2)

DRM (Secure / purchased) eBooks and text files - EPUB eBooks (Adept) BBeB eBooks (Marlin)

Adobe also state (HERE) that the PRS 650 supports both PDF and EPUB content, either unprotected or protected..

There was also a problem to buy it Germany (Munich). I have found PRS 650 only in airport store with higher price.
