HDR-CX190E HDMI control

I am tring to control my HDR-CX190E camcorder via HDMI on from my Bravia TV. This works for other decvices such as my DVD and PVR. When I try and add the HDR in the sync menu it does not find the device. I have enabled HDMI control in the HDR but still not working. Any ideas? The camersa plays back fine through te TV its just that I cant control it.

If you have already switched on the Control for HDMI feature by using the instructions on this page .....

..... there is no reason why your Bravia shouldn't be detected the CX190E. I'm not too sure about how this function works on a Bravia TV, but if you cannot get an answer in this area there is also a dedicated Bravia section to these forums where the users may be able to offer some further help with this.
