How do I upload my DCR-TRV110E video tapes onto my computer Windows 10

Hi, I've been trying to find a way to link my camcorder to my laptop or PC. I don't have a firewire cable at present, or a port on either the pc or laptop. I was hoping for some help on the easiest solution. I want to try and move my recordings before they get ruined or anything.

For my opinion, the most simple solution is to buy an external FireWire > USB acquire board...

Thank you for the response.

From what I have read this wont work:

"...it is not possible to connect a FireWire interface to your computer's USB port via a FireWire to USB adapter since this connection is not sufficient to run a FireWire audio interface. .."

Not an adaptor but an external board with FireWire IN and USB OUT.
