https://community.sony.se/t5/camcorders/playmemories-conversion-issues/m-p/2067964#M3825 <P>Hi I tried converting from AVCHD format to MP4 in playmemories, I am selecting to convert using the middle option (1920-1080 25p/30p 14 mbps)<BR />The file size before the conversion is 5.12 Gb and when the conversion is finished the file size increses to over 7Gb..<BR /><BR /><BR />I have done similar conversions in the past using the older playmemories version, in that version the options to convert to MP4 simply said high, medium or low quality and when I selected medium it would have cut the file size to quater the size, like a 4Gb file down to 1Gb .<BR /><BR />So im not sure why the MP4 file size now is ending up larger?
