topic Sony CX105 in Camcorders

Hi,

Am looking for some advice. I use a Sony CX105 for shooting extreme sports (skydiving). Most extreme sports are better suited if using cameras such as the GoPro Hero or something similar, but for what I am shooting requires I use a handycam camera. Anyway... the camera is not the problem, the problem I have is after I get my shot, whether it be in HD(AVCHD) or SD, the raw footage is very good and quite clear. Its when I edit the raw footage it loses all its quality. I've tried a few different editing sotware packages (Windows Movie Maker, AVS, Pinnacle) and no matter what I do the final result is very poor quality.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions as to what could work to stop this.

Any advice would be great - Thanks
