Sony DSC RX 100 M2 Image Saving Time

Hello there,

What is the usual image saving time of RX100 M2 camera, my camera is taking nearly 5 seconds. I felt it is long especially while taking the pictures of kids.

I am using Sony 16GB Class 10 UHS-1 Secure Digital SDHC Memory card, Do I need to make any chages in setting or what are the settings I need to check if they are okay or not ?

I guess it depends on how large the file is and what kind of processing the camera is needing to do: i.e long exposure etc... Not sure if your camera has it, but apparently low-light noise reduction can add to the time.

There are some faster cards on the market like the 'SanDisk Extreme 64 GB SDXC Memory Card up to 90 MB/s, Class 10, U3, V30', not sure how much that would help though.
