Low quality underwater - sony hdr-200asv

Hi guys,

My action cam, sony hdr-200asv, is not working properly underwater. I already setup the PowerShot settings and set the scene on 'water'. Above water the quality is very high, but underwater everything is vague. Even in a swimming pool it doesn't work well. Could somebody help me to fix this problem?

Hi Falco,

Guess you're using the underwater housing.

Have you checked if some humidity condenses on the front lens when you're underwater?

It happened to me when filming underwater with my AS15.

I've solved the problem adding a little silicate cushion into the housing.

Got the same problem with my cam. I guess that's just the way the cam is.
