Expected length of time for a warranty repair, UK?

Sadly my A7iii has had to go for a warranty repair (IBIS problem) being impatient (lol) I’m wondering if anybody here has had a warranty repair completed in the U.K. and if so how long did it take?

The retailer told me 4 to 6 weeks but the assistant added that was a standard time they were told to say and not necessarily right.

Can i I expect the repair to be quicker than that?
