A6000 Wifi connection to windows 10 issues

I can't seem to connect my a6000 to my laptop in order to transfer photos. I have PlayMemories installed on my laptop and have gone through the wifi setup whilst my camera is connected via USB. ( I am having to try and transfer via wifi as although the camera is recognised on PMH, no photos are showing to be transferred from camera to laptop).

When attempting to connect i get the message "Connected to the access point. Cannot connect to the computer to be saved"

Wouldn't it just be easier to insert your SD card into your computer?
