When linking my Walkman NW-E394 to my car. The only songs that it is recognising are those that are pre loaded and not the songs that I have downloaded? Any suggstions.

Hi,

can you check were the songs are stored? Maybe the downloaded files are on the SD Card and your car player can‘t see them?

If this is the case please try to move a few songs to the internal memory and check if it is working now.

How are the devices connected? Bluetooth or cable.

Hi my Walkman does not have a SD card.

The pre loaded songs (which are recognised and do play) appear on the playlist. So I am wondering whether or not the way that I have downloaded the other songs from cd using the Sony Music Centre software as per the instructions.

I am connecting the Walkman by cable.
