MDR-1000X Stored headset volume gets synced with PC

I have had my MDR-1000X for almost a year, and I have had the same routine for almost every day. I walk to work with the headset paired to my android phone where I can adjust the volume individually, but when I arrive at work and pair it with the Windows 10 computer, the stored volume setting on the headset gets synced with the computer. So when I change the volume on the headset by swiping the right touch panel, the volume on the computer changes as well. This is annoying because the volume is at 100% when I connect to the computer, and I have to play something in order to change the volume. I started having this problem about a week ago.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I tried restoring it to factory defaults by pressing power button and ambient sound button.

I'm not sure what to suggest here if you've already restored to factory settings.

It might be best getting in touch with the support team for further help with this here.
