Sony ICD-UX560 - should the retractable USB be wobbly?

I've just bought a Sony ICD-UX560 digital recorder, and on going to charge it, the retractable USB seems to have a certain amount of reedom to move up, down, left and right, so when you put the device in to your pc to charge, it leans. Is this normal and part of the design, or something wrong? I'm concerned that over time it will be degrade the connection

Hi Mike

I believe there is a small but expected amount of 'play' in the retractable USB connection.

It's obviously very hard to quantify exactly how 'wobbly' that connection is on your device. Would it be possible to record a short video of the device being inserted? You could just upload to YouTube and link here, if that's easiest.
