Walkman NW-A45 Reboot Loop

My NW-A45 is stuck in a constant cycle of rebooting which goes on until the battery is drained with no access to the menu system possible...splash screen then wavy lines then back to splash screen. When plugged into my PC the memory is available as a drive for 20 secs and then it reboots.

Does anybody know I way to break the cycle like a 'hard' reset

There's a basic restart in the troubleshooting guide here.

If it still doesn't work you can contact support here for advice.

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately while it has charge there is no control over it, constantly reboots. Buttons do

not respond.
