can you tell what is the maximum capacity micro sd card can be fitted and will the player play wav files stored on the Sd card?

Hi there

I cant find that exact model number, so using NW-ZX100.

There is nothing in the manual to state maximum capacity of the micro sd card, so assume it would be ok. The only clause is that :

We do not guarantee the operation of all types of compatible microSD cards with your Walkman.

The following files are supported:

Linear PCM

Media File format: Wave-Riff file format

File extension: .wav

Bit depth: 16 bit, 24 bit

Sampling frequency (*1): 8, 11.025, 12, 16, 22.05, 24, 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192 kHz

My understanding on reading the features listed on Sony's NW-ZX100 product page the Walkman supports an expandable memory upto an extra 128GBs.
