RDP-XA900iP - docking drawer won't open

The drawer with the docking station won't open. The light is on. I've tried unplugging it, pressed all the various buttons. The speaker itself works perfectly via other inputs, but I can't get the drawer open to attach an ipod. Any ideas? How can I open it manually?

Hi there

I have had a look around have come to the conclusion that you will need to contact Sony Support (or your retailer if under warranty) to get this repaired. More than likely its a small belt that needs replacing from the door's driver motor (obviously this is just a pure guess). I also cannot see a way without dismantling the whole unit to open the docking drawer.

I would not recommend you fixing it yourself either.
