Browsing Multiple iPhones - MEX BT3900U

Hi there,

I have a MEX BT3900U. I persuaded the wife to get this on the premise that getting in the car and the music playing off the phone in her bag would be a good thing!

Both of our phones are registered with the device, no problem. However, when we get in the car, it connects to the last iPhone used. This is not a major problem but according to the instructions, if we press and hold "Browse", we can select which phone to connect to.

In our case, it just browses the call history of the connected phone. I know we can't connect two phones at the same time but how do we select between the two phones without going through the whole pairing procedure each time?

Hi TimO,

Could be a long shot as the manual is a bit ambiguous(!), but when you press and hold the 'Browse' button make sure that the unit is switched to a source other than 'BT Phone' as in this mode this is when it accesses the call history I think...

Thanks for the suggestion but that didn't work.

Think it will have to be a message to Sony direct. (If that's at all possible)
