WF-1000XM4 noise cancelling

I have only purchased the MX4 ear buds a week ago Sound is great, only I'm not sure of the noise cancelling.

I'm getting a hissing sound in both ears not sure if that is normal? seems quite loud.

When I change to Ambient Sound Mode I still have the hiss in both ears but i can hear background noise a little.

Advise would be appreciated.

You might try to eliminate the problem by applying the steps advised on these two sites.

Reset or initialize the headset.

Find an answer in the Q&A section for your device.

Many thanks that has brought the hiss down to a low pitch now & its only hissing in one ear bud..

Hey Steven2507, this is mostly the case with ANC due to the active mic. But to make sure that it's not a fault, I recommend updating the headphones using the app.
