    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;You may be able to fix your device using the Windows 7 Troubleshooter.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;Once the device is connected, open Devices &amp;amp; Printers from the Start Menu.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;Walkman should show in there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;Right click on Walkman and select Troubleshoot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;Follow the prompts, you may be prompted to install a new driver etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;Let Windows do its thing and you may get your device working again.&lt;BR type="_moz" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;Or you may not, like I didn't. But it was worth a try.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Posting in the hope to help people who have come across this problem with their MP3 Walkman players.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Device will not switch on&lt;BR type="_moz" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Not recognised by computer&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;As described &lt;A _mce_href="http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55277" _mce_style="font-size: 10pt;" class="" href="http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55277" style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR type="_moz" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;From my investigations this appears to mean that the storage disk is dead.&lt;BR type="_moz" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;When plugged into a Windows XP system, the device is recognised and displays "Full" on the device's screen (though the disk is not full).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Windows7 cannot recognise the device at all.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Attempts to upgrade the firmware error with "no disk".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Conclusion: Dead disk&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Solution: The bin.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Message was edited by: dezb99&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
