VAIO Movie Creator Keeps Crashing!!

I have only just started to (try) and use my VAIO movie maker. Every time I open it it crashes, the furthest point I have got to is searching through my library or my video files but not even got to the point where ive found the ones I want to use.

The message comes up: "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and noticfy you if a solution is available."

My model name is SVF1521G2E. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software but it hasn't made any difference. Please can someone help me?
