Can the camera be made to do timelaps photography. I have been through the on-line manual and the menu on the camera, but cannot find anything that would relate to a setting to allow timelaps shooting. Is there an update that allows this?

Hello @greenvanman,

does the camera support PlayMemories camera apps?

If not, you need to get a timelapse remote which is compatible with your camera. They usually cost around 20 bucks on amazon/ebay and do the job.

Thanks for the reply. I have not loaded Play Memories onto the camera. I download the pictures/video to the play memories on my laptop and use that. I have not tried to see if the camera supports Play Memories due to this. The manual says that it is possible. I will look further into the timelaps remote you mention.
