AV messges on a Bravia

I am getting messages in top left of my Bravia TV model no KDL - 32S3000 screen differing each time I turn it on, how do I get rid of it, it is annoying! :-

AV4

arrow right, small tv screen containg three dots then 4

1080i/50

next time it will be

AV2

arrow right, small screen blank then 2

next time it is as the first one above but the top line reads tuner 1 instead of AV

Hi Rusty748,

I think you're referring to the info banner that appear whenever the signal is changed. You can remove this by pressing on the i+ button on the remote control.

Hi Black Rose, thanks for reply. Unfortunately these messages do not go away when I press 'i' button on my remote, all that does is bring up details of the proramme I am watching. There is no 'i+' button on my remote. The messages don't always change when I change channels and the only messages I get are the 3 shown - none other! Is 1080i/50 something to do with picture definition or suze?

Brilliant solution to my problem - many thanks. Worked first time, we have two remotes and I used the button on the non BT vision signal while watching TV on BT vision.
