new on here, can anyone help

i have an rm-x7bt Bluetooth interface in my car, when I connect my I phone 7 to it, it connects fine and works, but if you want to send a message by typing the keyboard will not come up, only way is to disconnect from the kit, has anyone had this problem

Hi @Gudv2121 and welcome to the Community

Unfortunately it could be several things such as the iphone itself, the receiver or

connection glitches between apple and sony products.

Do you have another brand of phone or an android device to test it with just to see if the problem still occurs?

I don't have an Iphone so cant advise, but another member may be able to help.

Failing that I would get in contact with Sony Support on Monday
