Double tap to wake too sensitive

Am new to Xperia coming over from Pixels and really pleased so far. The 5iv makes the Pixel 7 Pro look so "bland"

Anyway, I have had issues with accidental activations of the screen when in the pocket with different apps having been opened on different occasions.

I have the Press to Unlock with Fingerprint on

The Prevent accidental operations is on

Ambient display is off.

I have turned off the tap to wake function and that has resolved the issue but would prefer to be able to have it on if possible.

Is there anyway to make it a bit more user friendly? Seems a lot of people have the same issue with it.

Any tips please?

@divvykev, well it seems that the tap to wake function causes this issue. Does it happen randomly or only while in the pocket?

If it happens only while in the pocket, then I'm afraid the only solution would be turning off this feature
