Battery statistics running mad

Coming from a smashed z5 premium, i really like the device.

But, and there is always a but, i am facing this issue where battery statistics are running mad. Eg. The wifi usage shows 153 days running though the device is only 2 days old 😕

You can access this window from the battery menu in the settings, once you click there, touch the battery icon and, walla, its there!

You can click on any app and see the power consumption.

This is one of those issues that I find bewildering. How does one phone with the exact same hardware and software have a problem and another one no problem at all? Unless all the phones do NOT have the same hardware?? This happens on many phones. Fortunately this particular "bug" doesn't appear to be causing any real harm.

I have my device 3 days. Last bootup was 16 hours ago.

And take a look at the screenshot how long is WiFi (WLAN) active...... 252 days!

What's going wrong SONY?

Did you restore your phone from a backup using any backup software or google backup maybe?

Or anything else that could possibly interfere with the given data?

Maybe restoring information (including WiFi passwords, etc.) from google could make the information show up wrong.

No restore. Get phone from Vodafone, charged full, setup and installed all apps from playstore.

I used to be a part of Z3 Concept program and I seem to recall a similar issue. WiFi would report some weird long active time, but it wouldn't affect battery or anything. if it's the same thing then it's weird that it hasn't been fixed...

@najodleglejszy actually I believe that was fixed. I kinda remember having installed Gsam battery monitor because of that glitch, but uninstalling later on because it was solved.

But there was a bug on X with apps showing longer usage and although it might not be connected, something is definitely wrong with stats.

@schetz yeah, it was fixed during Concept, I'm just surprised that it's reared its ugly head again on 7.1.2.
