Blue tooth doesn't detect

Hallo,

Yesterday i received my new xz premium. The problem i'm having is that it doesn't detect other devices. Other devices do detect my phone. Does anyone else has this problem? Anders how can i fix this?

I am sorry to hear you're having trouble with your bluetooth.

Can you please check if your system software is up to date? You can check this under Settings > About Phone.

My phone tells me it is up to date. It uses Android 7.1.1

And I have a problem with bt. My samsung gear s3 does not work properly. Does not want to pair with my new xperia xz premium. please help!

Sorry for the delay @Buritas,

I know there was an issue with some other builds on Android 7, but they should be rectified with an update. The information I have relates to other devices though, not the XZ so I am not sure if it applies here.

It is possible that your handset is simply not compatible with your car kit, seeing as it does work with certain other devices.

I am afraid I don't have an immediate solution for you. At this stage I recommend you keep your phone up to date, as if it is an issue with the firmware it should be fixed with an update.

I'm not pleased with this answer to be honest. It doesn't resolve anything. My phone just updatet and still isn't working.

And now i have a new issue. When i connect my sony MDR-100 headset on bluetooth it affecfs my wifi. It makes it very poorly and slow.

What do you suggest i can do about this?

I have the same problem with build 45.0.a.5.1. Bluetooth worked fine before, but stopped working properly a few days ago.

What is going on?
