SD Card contents removed

Found that my pictures, music, documents , etc.on the SD card disappeared. At first I thought the system performed a Format without my input. But one of the folders I had created was still there, albeit empty. Not impressed. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm sorry to hear that but I think you might have a faulty SD card, the SD card will not reformat w/o you selecting that.

What I have found with my XA1 is that it forgets the presence of the SD card, marks apps as unavialbale, but a reboot of the phone fixes this

Hi @mtn2, welcome to the community.

It sounds like the same thing uliwooly is suggesting. Can you test it with a different SD card and see if it does the same thing?

As luck would have it, the phone has been behaving itself recently (after about 4 instances of having to reboot to restore access to SD card). I do not want to tempt fate, especially since I have stored some apps on the SD card. If it happens again, I will try with a new SD card.
