High battery drain on 2G voice calls

I have Recently bought this device.

I'm having issues while making 2G voice calls.

The battery consumption on voice calls is higher than on Screen usage. It's around 4.2 mAh/Min. I think it's unusual because I have checked in my friend's mobile and it was 35 mAh for 20 Mins calling.

I have ........

1. Uninstalled all unnecessary apps.

2. I have also tried reseting the phone to factory settings.

3. Signal reception 📶 is excellent always in my area.

4. I'm always on 2G GSM network while making calls.

5. I'm on Android 7.0 with build 40.0.A.5.14....

what network type are you on? did you set your network type to 2G only?

your voice call might be using 3g signals. unless your network type is set to 2g only.

try to perform software repair using Xperia Companion

No Dear network mode is 'GSM Only'.

Can someone post their battery usage for voice calls.
