Bluetooth connexion

I have an Xperia ultra for 3 weeks now. I synch it to my car but for some reason the music stop playing for some time and then stars again. During this time I check the music application and I know that the music is playing but no sound is being transferred.

Sometimes the sound comes out from my phone instead of the car

I connected another phone via Bluetooth to test it out for a full day and no sound problem.

I have constant Bluetooth issues with the Xperia XA. Bluetooth devices are rarely automatically connected, sometimes the whole bluetooth service hangs when I try to connect manually, and every so often it tries to connect to every Bluetooth device it knows one at a time, extremely slowly. Often when I'm trying to connect it to something else, it'll look like it's trying to connect to my car ... forever. But when I want it to connect to my car, it doesn't! I've also had the issues the OP describes, with it showing as connected (for audio, I checked) but sound is still coming from the phone speaker.

Extremely frustrating. The main reason I've chosen Sony all these years is because they own the Bluetooth patents. I now have multiple Sony Bluetooth speakers, Sony tablet, and a Sony phone, and all of a sudden Bluetooth is being a massive bummer. Extremely unhappy

Hi, did you ever found out the issue and get this resolved? I am having the same problem in my car.
