Hi, I'm using a SE X10. I discovered that it failed to send files like pictures and etc. to other devices including pc or handset. It's shows "error to send files".

Could you please provide some solution on this as bluetooth is very important for me on a phone usage.

I did obtained some information stating that it only happened on firmware version 1.6. It can only works when firmware version 2.0 has been updated.

However version 1.6 is the latest up to date version from the SE website? May i know when will the version 2.0 firmware available for download?

Besides this, the battery stated on SE website are suppose to last for 415hrs on standby. How come my battery only last for less than 60hrs on standby?

Please advise...

For the battery problem make sure you have the latest firmware installed.

Yes, there have been around 3 firmware updates for the X10 since it was launched. Though you may fall in to one of the regions where the updates are not being supported.

On a similar note to the main topic (not intending to hijack): I have not been able to connect to other Bluetooth devices with my X10. I am able to pair with them but the connection always fails. Any advice? This could also be the reason why the OP is unable to send files; pairing but not connecting.

Any idea which region which i can update to the latest firmware..? But if it's diff region it must means that the language on my phone also will be changed according the the region right after the updates..?

Ya.. i agreed too... my bluetooth can only received files and pair with bluetooth eat sets only...

But this should be solved if somehow manage to update to newer version of firmware other than version 1.6.
