After latest update on X2, the call list manager stopped working

i updated my X2 2 days back. after the upgrade, the call list manager stopped working.

it does not show missed call numbers and also the incoming and outgoing calls are not at all recorded..

please let me know what i could do here

recommend you to re-update it again, or format the phone... and when you reinstall your software, do it slow and don't do few things together, especially the phone sounds & notifications (and phone setting) try configure it last... the latest X2 SW ver. are R3AA035 (check from setting>system>device information) but after this update, my phone never have this problem anymore!!!

Hallo! No need to update again/restore/reset!

I had the same problem and managed to get rid of it. First of all MAKE A BACKUP (please really do this, because the procedure will delete your phonebook entries) of your phonebook and your speed dials!

Open file explorer and go to the root of your device there is a file "pim.vol". Thats where your contacts, speed dial and call logs are saved. You cant delete the file, but you can rename it. Ok... so you

*) rename "pim.vol" to anything else (e.g.: pig.vol)

*) softreset the x2

*) open the telephone and dial any number and call it (you will notice, that your contacts are gone and that the new call is not logged now)

*) hang up and softreset again

now the called number should be listed. It worked for me and it always works again and again....

my problem was, that i saved me contacts with spb backup from my x1 to port it to x2 and after that i couldnt log any calls.

hey, thanks, that worked!

actually bfr updating i backed up using spb demo version and after th eupgrade, restored but it stopped wrkng.

now its back in its original behaviour!!

hi, the s/w version is same as you had mentioned. but maybe the pim.vol may hv gt corrupted or somreting like tht.

aftr replacing it, its wrkng normally.
