Xperia E1 finally dead?

Hello my friends!

My question is:

Has the phone permanently ruined?

My xperia E1 does not turn on and does not charge.

The LED does not blink.

Neither red nor green.

The LED does not light either as a wall charger or USB.

The laptop recognizes as: SOMC Flash Device.

But other than that does not happen.

Have you tried a software repair using Xperia Companion? If not give this a go.

The software repair does not work because I press the volume down button, the process does not resume.

If the software repair hasn't worked, the next step would be to contact Local support as it likely will need to be physically repaired.

But how can one day work on the phone, but not the other day? And I did not do anything with it, it was just discharged and I could not turn it on and on again.

Hi @MrGeri

Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to say why that is. A technician at a service centre would be able to assess the handset and distinguish what has caused this to happen.

As advised, if you contact Local support they will be able to assist in arranging this for you.
