After more than 40 yrs of loyalty to the Sony Marque, it’s all been one way and I’ve about had enough.

My current Sony TV Remote RMF-TX500E has given up. No problem I thought, I’ll just order a replacement direct from Sony……nope, not possible.

Amazon had one, problem is it’s a knock off and subsequently can’t be updated and some of the functions are remapped into the bargain. Better than nothing I suppose but £14 wasted. I’ve now sourced a Genuine Sony Replacement at £53 from a Pirate it seems. So £67 in total to replace a Remote…..Sony you really need to up your game, some of your peripherals are as cheap as ******* and not worthy to carry the Sony Logo.

I’m NOT encouraged to purchase any further Sony Gear. My PS5 can be an XBox, my next TV and Soundbar a Samsung or an LG. Loyalty works two ways and you’re expressing absolutely NONE. Once you’ve made the sale you move on….maybe so will I.

Every peripheral should be directly available from your Store and not left to 3rd Party Chinese Knock Off Artists and Robber Barons.
