topic XR-77A80J freeze in Android TV

Hi,

The past two days I've had problems with the TV suddenly freezing. Both picture and sound full stop and what helps is pull the plug, reset it with power button on the TV and start up again. On the 24th and 25th both days, the TV was switched on and in use from 7AM throughout the day, and both freezes happened late in the evening at 10-11PM.

Latest firmware v6.7630 is installed. I've considered reloading this via an USB stick to see if it helps. TV is wall mounted and did not register any heat from behind of the unit when the freeze occurred. Any ideas?

@steinhun It must happen when you're using a specific App right? Or it happens on all the contents like Live TV and the internal Apps? In the meanwhile, I've done quick research, and you can try to do a data factory reset and clear cached data from your TV: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/iaep1/v1/en/08-01_03.html?hl=factory
