    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi guys thanks for the advice i have been in contact with sony and they recommended adjusting some settings so did that but still happening, sony have got back to me and have said its a software issue from one of the updates they said they are working on getting a solution soon&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Hi sony have just replaced my old&amp;nbsp;KD-55XF9005 under warranty with a brand new K55XR70 i have had it a week now and everyday several times the screen freezes but with the sound from my sky box still audible, sometimes it turns off and then reboots but sometimes stays frozen until i unplug it, does anybody know of a reason for this before i contact sony direct?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It’s just a little piece of plastic, and yet if you can get a TV where the maker’s name is a different piece of plastic, most of the problems seem to melt away.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do they &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;U&gt;do&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; that?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;-Try to perform a Soft Reset of the TV by holding the power button on the remote for 5 seconds, and then confirm you want to reset the device in the on-screen display.&lt;BR /&gt;-Perform a Power Cycle of the TV by removing the AC power cord from the outlet and reconnecting it after 30 seconds.&lt;BR /&gt;Then do a factory reset: &lt;A href="https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00274122" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00274122&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, try to disable the following settings:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Samba interactive&lt;BR /&gt;Bravia Synch&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you tried the steps &lt;SPAN style="background: var(--ck-color-mention-background); color: var(--ck-color-mention-text);"&gt;@Anonymous&lt;/SPAN&gt; recommended with no luck still, you should contact Sony and see what they can offer!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
