I asked my tv to undertake a factory reset last week for it to only now start up with the Sony screen and then to a black screen , I have tried all resets from the internet but still no joy and a new tv bought.

any ideas before it goes to the skip ?

@Bambam35 Try to unplug the TV from the mains and plug it back after 2 minutes, but make sure first nothing is connected to it. If still no luck, it might need to be inspected by an engineer.

The tv been unplugged for days and still does the same thing starts up the Sony screen and then goes black.

Trip to the rubbish site soon but a tv shouldn't do this when you follow instructions on the screen

As long as you went through the reset and still goes black after starting up then it needs inspection, check the nearest ASC to you from this LINK
